Founding Members are subscribers who joined RailScanPro during the early access period (before the general availability launch). As a thank-you for trusting us early, Founding Members receive a permanent set of benefits that follow their account forever — even if they cancel and resubscribe later, as long as the original account is intact.

What Founding Members Get

Locked-In Pricing

Your monthly rate is frozen at the price you paid when you signed up, regardless of any future price increases. If Hobbyist goes from $19 to $24, you continue paying $19 for as long as you maintain your subscription.

Founding Member Badge

Your public profile and community posts display a Founding Member badge — a recognizable mark that shows you were here from the beginning.

Priority Support

Founding Member support tickets are routed to the top of the queue. Typical response time is under 4 hours during business hours.

Beta Feature Access

Founding Members get first access to new features before they roll out to the general user base. You'll see a Beta section in your account settings with opt-in toggles for upcoming features.

Extended Data Retention

Standard accounts retain deleted items for 30 days before permanent removal. Founding Members get 90-day retention on deleted items and 1 year of activity history.

How to Verify Your Founding Member Status

  1. Go to Settings → Subscription
  2. Look for the Founding Member badge next to your plan name
  3. Your locked-in price is shown alongside the current public price for comparison

If you believe you qualify but don't see the badge, contact support with your original sign-up confirmation email and we'll review your account.

Annual Billing and Founding Member Pricing

Your locked-in rate applies to monthly billing. If you switch to annual billing, the locked-in annual rate is 12× your monthly rate (same proportional savings as other annual subscribers).

Transferability

Founding Member status is tied to your account and email address. It cannot be transferred to a different account or email. Family and Club plan administrators: the Founding Member benefits apply to the account that holds the subscription, not to secondary seats.
