Walt Disney's vision for a family-friendly theme park included a working steam railroad circling the property. Three 5/8-scale locomotives, including the No. 1 C.K. Holliday, were built new or restored from historic equipment. The 1.2-mile loop featured stops at Main Street Station and Frontierland, providing both transportation and immersive storytelling. The railroad helped establish the template for theme-park rail attractions worldwide and remains in daily operation today.
